Matt Stover donates 500 water bottles to the Southwest Baltimore Charter School

Matt Stover, kicker for the Baltimore Ravens, has scored some serious points in the hearts and minds of SBCS students. After hearing about our struggle to quench the thirst of 160 children who go to school in a building with potentially lead-contaminated water, Matt Stover (in typical fashion) saved the day. By giving our school 500 water bottles, the foundation ensured that our children and teachers no longer need to use hundreds of paper cups or heavy pitchers to get water out of our three water coolers. Now, staff members fill up every child’s water bottle at the beginning of the day. No more puddles in the hallway, no more overflowing trash cans of paper cups, no more children asking to leave the classroom to go get a drink. Thank you, Matt! We are so proud you are part of the SBCS team!
